The new website is the latest and greatest from Microsoft and is hosted in Microsoft’s Azure cloud space. Developed by Brad Hurlbert of Tucson Software Studios, the platform features the newest responsive technologies including ASP.NET MVC5 with Boostrap, Html5, CSS3, JQuery, SQL Server, OWIN, OAUTH and a few other technical gems. It is cross-device compliant and works across PC’s, Phones, Tablets and TV’s.
The site’s integration with their inventory and point-of-sale system, MJFreeway, makes it effortless for their bud-tenders to keep the cannabis menu’s up to date; it eliminates the need for the dispensary to pay hundreds of dollars per month to display their product menus from third party locators like Leafly and will be distinctly accurate with no effort to maintain it. It’s a savings of time and money that dispensaries cannot ignore says Brad Hurlbert the developer and entrepreneur who built the site.
In addition to saving time and money, the dispensary will benefit from advanced search-engine-optimization (SEO) features that are part of the new platform, which is already generating more traffic than the old site. With feature’s like structured data and open-graph, sites can get more exposure with related terms in the search engines which translates to more traffic.
